Old College
Old College is listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings and occupies a prominent site on the University of Delaware campus overlooking Main Street and the Mall below. The building, originally built in 1833, and the oldest building on campus, was renovated to accommodate new academic programs and updated building codes on a very tight budget.

The remodeled building houses offices, classrooms and laboratories for the Art History Department. The main art gallery was also restored and new fire towers were erected in the rear of the building. Interestingly, the new stair towers were constructed with different brick to match areas of the building which had weathered different colors over the years.
