| Moeckel Carbonell
has completed the design and construction of a facility on Whitechapel Drive that will
become a comprehensive campus of life-long living and learning. Some of the development is
in conjunction with the University of Delaware as the site of their proposed Life-Long
Learning Center and Gerontology Laboratory. |

| There is also an
association with the Newark Parks and Recreation Department. They are utilizing certain of
the Senior Center's facilities during hours when the Seniors are not present. The
Center provides a fitness center and swimming pool for its members, as well as a
multi-purpose dining facility to serve 250 members. Rentals of which are intended to
provide an income stream for the Center. |

published in the Design for Aging: 1998 Review and exhibiting at the National
Conference in San Francisco, CA. It was also awarded a 1997 Associated Builders &
Contractors Excellence in Construction Award. |
