Pierre S. duPont Performing Arts Center
This 32,000 s.f. addition to the existing
school houses a 450-seat performing arts center. It includes ancillary support
spaces such as a stage with fly, orchestra pit, projection booth, scene shop, green room
and dressing rooms. |

| The enlarged lobbies, which connect the auditorium
with the existing structure, serve as gallery spaces for faculty and student art.
Thus, display flexibility was taken into consideration when designing the lighting and
wall surfaces for this portion of the structure. |

| The addition also includes a lower-level which
Moeckel Carbonell constructed below-grade. This level includes a photography suite,
rehearsal room and space for three future classrooms. |
