| The Founders of this Club had the dream of creating a championship golf facility and purchased a 210 acre former dairy farm in Buckingham Township, Bucks County. The old complex of field stone farm buildings was anchored by an 18th century farmhouse, forming a natural courtyard, which would serve as the basis for a unique 10,000 s.f. clubhouse. The Club felt that the physical facilities should have a family atmosphere dedicated to maintaining the present warmth and charm of the existing farmhouse. | ![]() |
| The Architects solution was to allow the wonderful scale and context of the old farmhouse complex to lead the way to a new expanded facility. The challenge would be to more than double the useable floor space of the existing buildings and yet maintain the scale and dominance of the old farmhouse as the focal point of the facilities. |
