Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts

The new facility is an adaptive reuse of the historic Harlan and Hollingsworth Car Shop II and the project involved extensive renovation of the existing 25,000 sq. ft. structure and the design of 10,000 sq. ft. of new space. The program included the design of two large exhibition galleries, three smaller galleries, a 100-seat lecture and performance space, thirty artists' studios, an artists' commons and an exhibition gallery for on-site artists.
