The design of this new visitors center consists of renovations of and an addition to, the original mansion's carriage house. Designed to be sympathetic to, but not mimic the original barn structure, the addition was carefully added to the west side of the carriage house to preserve the views from the mansion and to fit within the constraints of an existing stone wall that was integrated into the exterior wall.
