Archives An original charter from William Penn, and the five other historic documents identifying the lands that now make up the State of Delaware, are the treasured focus of a new state-of-the-art Public Archives. Located on the Legislative Mall in Dover, Delaware, the plans for the new archive call for the renovation of the 1938 Hall of Records, a two-story expansion over the existing below-grade State Records Center, and a new connecting entrance and public exhibition space. |
